Proprietary Bending Foam FillingIn our quest to produce pristine results in very small radius bends, Syn-Tec pioneered this alternative to using inserts in the bending process. In 2011, after 6 years of intensive R&D, we completed refining the formula that allows our foam to support the integrity of hollow vinyl during heating and bending. Syn-Tec offers this service to their customers who wish to escape the primitive process of using inserts for curved window shape production.
Using foam greatly reduces the skill set required by the equipment operators while reducing labor and increasing throughput. Many customers ship full racks of material to our facility where it is filled, trimmed, racked and shipped back. They report the labor savings and increased quality more than offsets the cost of filling and shipping. Welcome to the “new” method of producing pristine vinyl window shapes.
